One key to all of my alternative energy sources is the ability to add on, this is a unique situation with Hydro power as you need the water flow.; Hydro power is still a very viable alternative energy source and pricing on micro hydro just keeps coming down Change the World&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Low flow technology is also getting less expensive. I am also working on a multi level Hydro Power system, with it I will be able reuse the flow of the water multiple times. With the size of turbines and "water wheels" shrinking (as well as price) we can now each look to Hydro power as an alternative.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;President Obama has pledged to invest over 150 billion in alternative energy, FINALLY someone with out a conflict of interest with Oil.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Frankly I am not sure why the former president was allowed to own so much oil stock to begin with. Basically I will be setting up a small hydro generator to run off or rainwater coming our of our rain gutters. I like to try things out small first and build upon the power grid by linking multiple power sources to power everything.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One thing I am always interested in is scalability of the &lt;strong&gt;hydro systems&lt;/strong&gt;. One key to all of my alternative energy supplies is the ability to add on, this is a unique situation with Hydro power as you need the water flow.
